The anticipation alone of our long weekend in Paris had really set our expectations high. Would we enjoy it as much as every other couple seems to? Well…We both ended our trip with a deep sense of satisfaction as we knew the trip was a special one and not only met our expectations but fully exceeded them in pleasant french style. It’s one of those destinations that you feel you must visit again immediately after you leave. C’est la vie. Our plan was simple…Visit as many hotspots as we could to really absorb the french culture. Here’s some of our favorite spots we managed to visit:
1. Montmartre: Sacré-Cœur
2. Louvre Museum
3. Eiffel Tower
4. Chateau de Versailles
5. Trocadero
6. Champ de mars
7. Arc de Triomphe
8. Walking down Champs-Élysées
9. Notre Dame
10. River Seine

Photos (slightly stylized to reflect our surreal journey) were taken from the weekend of September 19th, 2008:

Sacré-Cœur

I chose this last photo as it the tailend of a very long day and really encapsulated both of our moods. The chateau de versailles was amazing but it took forever to get in. Once we got there, we quickly lost our enthusiasm. You can see it on our faces. Especially hers. :)
