So I decided to drop Panera CEO, Ron Shaich, an e-mail and see if he would be kind enough to read my Panera blog that I posted back on July 23rd. Ambitious, I know...To be quite honest, I did not think he would, nor did I think he would even reply. I was very surprised, almost stunned, when I received the response below on 8/24/06...

Believe it or not, this response made my entire week and I am now an official Ron Shaich fan. :)
